The five-faced Rudraksha, known as the 5 Mukhi Rudraksha, bears five natural lines on its surface, representing the blessings of the five forms of Lord Kaalagni Rudra. It possesses the power to cleanse various sins committed in the present life. This sacred Rudraksha is also blessed by Devguru, the divine teacher of the Devas, as it is influenced by the planet Vrihaspati (Jupiter). Wearing it brings blessings to the wearer and bestows fulfillment in terms of wealth, desires, and liberation.
The Pachakshari Mantra, “Namah Shivaya,” originated from the five-faced form of Lord Shiva, and it is accompanied by the divine sound of “Om” (Pranava). Hence, the significance of the five-faced Rudraksha is paramount in any spiritual practice or meditation. …excerpt from Guru Aum Sushant Ji’s Book – Shiva’s Blessings: The Secrets of Rudraksha
Kaalagni Rudra:
The ruling deity of this Rudraksha is Lord ‘Kalagni’ – or Kala-Agni means ‘fire that is time.’ Rudra is the prime mover and destroyer of the material world and time.” As in Yajur Veda – Tripurasura had taken over the three cities of the gods, and the allusion was also to the triple passions of Pride, Anger, and Delusion in the site of the devotee.
His mythical arrow was equivalent in efficacy to the rites performed by the gods with Agni as their agent. Lord Shiva’s bow, the Pinaka, was one of the two bows that Vishwakarma had created for Shiva and Vishnu. Shiva first used the weapon to destroy the three impregnable cities of Maya, Tripura and end the evil asuras Tarakaksha, Vidyunmalin, and Kamalaksha.
Lord Shiva had used Vasuki, the snake he wears as a garland, as the string of Pinaka. The day Shiva destroyed the three cities is celebrated as Kartik Purnima. These cities were the work of the demon mastermind – Maya. It was a world conquest, a universal conflagration that wiped out the demons from the earth, air, and sky.”
