A Seven Mukhi Rudraksha has seven lines (mukhas) on its surface. The ruling deity of the seven Mukhi Rudraksha is Goddess Maha Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth), and the ruling planet is Saturn. The wearer gets the divine blessings, wealth and prosperity from Goddess Mahalakshmi blessings.

Goddess Maha Lakshmi
The Rigveda, one of the four Vedas, does contain hymns praising the concept of abundance and prosperity, which are associated with the qualities embodied by Mahalakshmi. The two main Puranas that mention Goddess Maha Lakshmi extensively are the Vishnu Purana and the Padma Purana.

According to the Vishnu Purana, Goddess Mahalakshmi is said to have emerged during the churning of the cosmic ocean, known as amudra Manthan, which took place between the Devas (celestial beings) and Asuras (demons) to obtain the nectar of immortality.

The Devas (celestial beings) and Asuras (demons) were trying to obtain the nectar of immortality. Various divine beings and treasures arose from the ocean during the churning process. Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, prosperity, and abundance, is considered to be the divine consort of Lord Vishnu. She is described as a radiant and beautiful goddess who appeared from the ocean and chose Lord Vishnu as her consort.

Lord Vishnu rests on the coiled body of a serpent deity known as Shesha or Ananta (infinite), who represents the cosmic serpent and the embodiment of eternal time, with Goddess Lakshmi by his side. This rudraksha helps to attain ‘Sthira Lakshmi,’ representing stability and permanence in the material and spiritual realms, supported by Lord Vishnu and the presence of Ananta.
