गंडमूल दोष

यदि कोई व्यक्ति केतु (छाया ग्रह) और बुध द्वारा शासित नक्षत्रों में से किसी एक में पैदा होता है, तो वेदों के अनुसार उस व्यक्ति की कुंडली में गंड मूल दोष होता है। मूल नक्षत्रों में अश्विनी, अश्लेषा, मघा, ज्येष्ठा, मूल और रेवती नक्षत्र शामिल हैं और इन्हें सबसे अशुभ नक्षत्र माना जाता है। नक्षत्रों की इन स्थितियों में जन्म लेने पर शिशु का जीवन व्यथित होता है, उसके रिश्ते तनावपूर्ण होते हैं और जीवन में लगातार परेशानियां आती हैं।

सर्प को दूध पिलाना |
नाग देव की पूजा करना |
पितरों के लिए दान करना |
घर में यज्ञ करना |
अमावस्या के दिन ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराना |
मंदिर में शिवलिंग स्थापित करना |
हर अमावस्या को गौ, स्वर्ण, अन्न वगैरह का दान करना |
माता-पिता को छह महीने तक विष्णु सहस्त्रनाम का पाठ करना |

गंडमूल नक्षत्र शांति पूजा करानी चाहिए. आचार्यों के मुताबिक, यह पूजा जन्म के 27 दिनों के अंदर करानी चाहिए |
शास्त्रों के मुताबिक, गंडमूल नक्षत्र में जन्मे बच्चे को 27 दिनों तक पिता को नहीं देखना चाहिए. 27 दिन बाद, विद्वान पंडित से विधिपूर्वक ‘मूल शांति’ कराने के बाद ही पिता को बच्चे का मुंह देखना चाहिए |
गंडमूल शांति के लिए, ब्राह्मणों को दान, दक्षिणा देनी चाहिए और उन्हें भोजन कराना चाहिए |
अगर उपाय नहीं किए जा पाए, तो इस नक्षत्र में जन्मे बच्चे को जीवन भर महीने के एक शनिवार को थोड़ा सा दूध मिट्टी के बर्तन में भैंरो बाबा को अर्पित करना चाहिए |
