“अष्टादशमुखं रुद्राक्षं भूम्यै समर्पितं शिवेन।
धनधान्यप्रदं पुण्यं त्रैलोक्यविजयी भवेत्॥”

In the divine era of the Satya Yuga, there once lived a pious king named Satyarath, who ruled his kingdom with great compassion and adherence to dharma. His land was fertile, his people were happy, and there was harmony among humans and nature. But over time, due to the sins of a neighboring asura king, a great curse of drought and famine befell Satyarath’s kingdom. The rivers dried, crops failed, and the Earth lost her vitality.

In despair, King Satyarath meditated on Lord Shiva, pleading for guidance to restore balance and abundance to his land. Pleased with his devotion, Shiva appeared and handed him a divine Rudraksha with eighteen faces, glowing with the energy of Bhūmi Devi.

Shiva said:

“This is the 18 Mukhi Rudraksha, born from My tear and empowered by Bhūmi Devi, the nourisher of all. She sustains, protects, and multiplies. Whoever wears this Rudraksha with purity and devotion will be blessed with land, wealth, agriculture, nourishment, stability, and strength.”

Following Lord Shiva’s command, King Satyarath wore the bead with reverence, and in just a few days, clouds returned, rains came, the soil regained fertility, and the kingdom flourished once again. His lineage continued to prosper for generations, and his land was known as “Annapurna Bhoomi” — the land of food and fulfillment.
